Menu

What would you like on/in/from the menu? Which would be the correct preposition?

Hi Maj, If the person being asked this question is a restaurant guest the correct prep. would be 'from'. If a restaurant owner (or chef) is being asked by someone who is preparing the menu itself, it would be 'on'.

with the preposition "on" which one of the following sounds correct?

1 what would you like to be on the menu?

2 what would u like on the menu?

or

do both the sentence mean the same? [if both r correct]
