Men's English vs women's

Hi,

I am Japanese and in Japanese men and women speak differently so, for instance, it is possible to tell if the sender is male or female when I receive a text message with a single line from someone I don't know. Is this also true in English? or you people speak differently?

Thank you,

M

As a rule, the English language does not have masculine and feminine genders.

The gender of a person sending an anonymous text message in English would be impossible to determine unless there were some specific clue within the text.

There are a few words that are used almost exclusively by each gender, but definitely not to the extent that Nihongo speakers use exclusive words.

Women rarely say "dude", and may use terms of endearment like "sweety" or "hon" for many people, while men would only say those to their girlfriend/wife.

Vorpar I am a japanese. Articles aren't used for adjectives like "Japanese". Use an article if there is a noun: A Japanese Person.

In Japan, men and women communicate differently through text message. When speaking about a noun like this, it needs to be pluralized.
