'MEng Degree' - Question

Hi,

I was wondering if when talking about my MEng degree whether it is correct to say 'a MEng' or 'an MEng'. To me 'an MEng' sounds correct but would 'a MEng' be grammatically correct as its an abbreviation of Masters of Engineering?
