Good. Just as I thought. Then what about this? Would it work?

This guitar is full of a lot of memories.

Sorry. I forgot to delete "a lot of" in the previous post.

Both sentences are understandable and mean about the same thing. However, the sentence, "This guitar has a lot of memories.", unless you're trying for a certain effect in your writing, is not right. It should be something like: This guitar has a lot of memories for me.

Do you mean the fist one and the last one with "full of memories"?

This guitar has a lot of memories for me.
This guitar is full of memories for me.
This guitar holds many memories for me.

These are all examples of using the literary device of anthropomorphism.
The guitar is a "being" with the power or quality of evoking your old memories. The writing brings it to life.

I see.

But without "for me", none of them would sound OK, right?

In my opinion, yes. The guitar is not evolved enough to think on its own and have its own memories.
