Memorable memories

- Last night my fiancee and I strolled along the beach and the air was way so comfortable. This morning we got up very early to go out watch a sunrise. Afterwards we returned to the hotel to check out and drove straight home. Our trip was not very long but it left lots of memorable memories to us.

- Are these sentences ok in written English?

namsteven- it left lots of memorable memories to us.

This is redundant. Try "lots of lasting memories."
