meeting location

All staff will have a meeting at 9:00am in my department.

Does this sentence carry the information about where the meeting will be held? I don't think it does. A clear message would be "in the main conference room, in room 3, etc." I am not sure. I'd appreciate your opinion.

Is it a correct sentence?

Hi Chariot The sentence is oddly worded. I suppose it could be OK if there is only one possible place that meetings are held in "my department". " as you suggested.
