Meditation


The Earth was supposed to be like this.

Square shaped apples.
Cylinder shaped camels.
Lung- coloured oranges.

Because of a genetic surgical mistake
The sky’s blue.

I’m looking for the square shaped apple.
The sky’s green there.
But maybe you’d love me.

I was on allpoetry page searching the result of the Contest where pieter, the poet of EnglishForward, participated with his poem 'I declare' . I clicked on contests/judging /results but I didn't find it. If he obtained the 300 points, congrats, and if not, never mind, the poem is the important thing.
