medicine after drinking
In the TV series Friends, I always see people taking some kind of medicine in the morning after the night of drinking (btw, can you rephrase this sentence nicer for me?). So can you tell me what kind of medicine it is? Is it really effective and safe to reduce the harm of drinking? Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't realize what the actual area of confusion was.
The morning after a night of drinking.
Use "the" with morning because there is only one morning that follows any particular night. Use "a" with the night because until it was mentioned (in that sentence) it was not predefined.
