Teach them as you would teach any other adult ESL/EFL students, Sunjee. They will be able to supply the specialized vocabulary themselves, I think, from their medical textbooks.

The grammar is the same, although the passive voice is more frequently (perhaps too much so) in technical writing. Find some copies of medical journals and read the articles to get a feel for the tone, even if you don't understand the specialist vocabulary employed.
