Medical sentences, please help

Do you usually say 'have a procedure' or 'have a procedure done'?
1When I have a procedure, you never accompany me to the hospital.

Is it correct to use 'assembly line style'?
2The surgeon work assembly line-style, like on an assembly line. He does one procedure after the other.

Which is correct?
3Will you tell me when I going to fall asleep, Doctor? Will you tell me when I will fall asleep Doctor?

Is 'put under' colloquial? I don't see it in dictionary.
4They are putting her under for the procedure.

Do you say 'weak the legs' and 'had a discomfort'?
5After the anesthesia I felt weak the legs and had discomfort in the arm.

Is this sentence correct?
6Don't eat heavy for for 3 days after a general anesthesia.

Can you correct?
7I wasn't under for more than 10 minutes. The anesthesia lasted 10 minutes. 3ML of anesthesia puts you under out for 5 minutes.

How would I have to write this in a nice way?
8I've always wanted to know what causes the anesthesia to get you to fall asleep. How come the anesthesia makes you fall asleep?
