Yes. Both 'to' and 'into' are fine.

Thanks sir. Actually i am confused because of this english of America. our MT training focused on American english and there is lot of difference in the use of english and medical english. that is why i am asking. please dont think negatively. thanks for your immediate answer.

There is no difference in 'medical English' and 'American English' with regard to those common prepositions. Your instructor is a poor one.
