slight is fine, but I'd change the sentence a bit: A patient suffered a slight heart attack. "suffered with" seems too drawn out in time to apply to a heart attack, and heart attack is countable, so you'll need the article.

Hi,

I suggest two sentences for your question:

1. A patient suffered a mild heart attack.

2. A patient suffered a mild myocardial infarction - This sentence is medical specific.

Of all the suggestions, for some reason mild sounds best to me.
