Meat Loaf, I'd lie for you

I'd never tell you one lie,
I'd never let you down.
I'd never leave.
I'd be the one who'd always be around.
Baby give me a chance

Meat Loaf, I'd lie for you

I have learned that would is less certain than will and then I was wondering why here would is used, not will? I think that when we promise something like those in the lyrics, using will makes my words trustful or is there a reason would is used there? What do you native English speakers think?

Thank you so much as usual in advance.

Thank you so much and then do you agree that 'will' is a better choice than 'would' when we promise something, right?

No. Not in hyperbolic language.

I'd jump off a cliff for you.
I'd bend over backwards to help you.
