Means or meant ; to or for

Hi,

Which one of the following sentences is the correct one?

1. He realizes how much she means to him.
2. He realizes how much she meant to him.
3. He realizes how much she means for him.
4. He realizes how much she meant for him.

I am confused, please help!

Either #1 or #2. The past (#2) means that she is no longer there, so all he has is the memory of her.

So # 3 and # 4 are definitely wrong, right?

With these kinds of sentences, I sometimes gets confused between "to" and "for".

How about these two:
5. He realizes how she means a lot to him.
6. He realizes how she means a lot for him.
