What is meant INDEED? I heard it has two meanings one is 'IN REALITY',second is 'FOR EXAMPLE'am i right or not?

I agree with Francesca: 'indeed' certainly means 'in reality', and 'indeed' meaning 'for example' sounds strange to me.
