Meaning of 'write a song'

Hello,

I want to refer this sentence "In 2012, Adele released "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyfall_%28song%29", which she co-wrote and recorded ..." in my paper.

How should I understand 'co-wrote' in this sentence?

  1. Adele composed the song, "Skyfall" and wrote the lyrics of it.
  2. Adele composed the song, "Skyfall."
  3. Adele wrote the lyrics of the song, "Skyfall." (maybe not?)

Thank you!
