Meaning of "when" clauses

Hello,
While looking for the use of past simple with "when",I got confused about some sentences.

-When I paid her one dollar, she answered my question.
-She answered my question when I paid her one dollar.

It's said that these two sentences have the same meaning, whereas the below sentences have different meaning comparing with the two first ones.

-I paid her one dollar when she answered my question.
-when she answered my question I paid one dollar.
Could you please put some light on that ?
Thanks in advance
