Meaning of what you've got on me

"Very rude Sam. Hanging up when I am telling you how little I care is very rude."

"That's why I'm calling, Josh. I've heard your little speeches before. I want to know what you've got on me."

Thanks so much.

To me, it doesn't make sense, Jin.

Normally, to have something on someone has two uses:

1. A has nothing on B. (A is in no way superior to B.)

2. A has something on B. (A knows something about B which could be used against B.)

These two uses have nothing to do with each other.
