Meaning of "weave in and out"
Hi I wonder what does "weave in and out" means. I'm thinking maybe something like: to move from one certain point to another countinoiusly changing those points, moving forward with this pattern?
context:
The boat weaves in and out between countless tiny islands, some with small brighly painted wooden houses on them...
