Hi I wonder what does "weave in and out" means. I'm thinking maybe something like: to move from one certain point to another countinoiusly changing those points, moving forward with this pattern?
context:
The boat weaves in and out between countless tiny islands, some with small brighly painted wooden houses on them...
g. it turns left to go around one island, then right to go around the next island, then left again, and so on.

Yes, the boat changes direction a lot, e.g. it turns left to go around one island, then right to go around the next island, then left again, and so on.
