Meaning of VS?

Hi,

I am not sure what this "Global Information Service" is.

Quoted from a website:
"He is the VP Global Information Service of Quest Software."

Quest is the name of a company, so I suppose Global Information Service should be one of the names of their departments, but it reads "VS" so, at the same time, I feel like Global Information Service should be the name of a company as well.

Do you use VS for a guy in a department of a company?

Thank you,
M

Yes, VP, that's what I meant. Emotion: zip it!

Thanks, anyway!
