Meaning of "translate" and "enter the classroom" in this context

Hi~ In the following paragraph, I don't understand the exact meaning of two parts underlined.

As for the word "translate", which interpretation do you think is the best and the most appropriate in the context?

1) interpreting the meaning of the psychological assessment data

2) applying the data of the psychological assessment

3) change the form/content of the psychological assessment into the way that is meaningful to instruction or

behavior management in the classroom

As for the phrase "enter the classroom", what do you think is the best meaning of the phrase?

"Utilizing the two disciplines, brain science and psychology, in the classroom" OR

"The two disciplines are not dealing with the issues in the classroom"?

It seems not easy, but if you have any idea and comment some, it would be a big help for me.

A pervasive issue when attempting to apply current brain research to behavior and learning is that the two disciplines primarily conducting these studies, neurology and psychology, often focus on unrelated issues. Very little of neuroscience focuses on learning; rather, it is often narrowly focused on cell and chemical function. Psychology often focuses on therapies and behavioral change through prescriptive behavior modification approaches. School psychologists familiar with education struggle to translate psychological assessments in a way that is meaningful to instruction or behavior management in the classroom. Therefore, after all the advancements in brain science and psychology, both disciplines have yet to enter the classroom.
