Meaning of "to put a good face on"

Hi,

Can I use "to put a good face on something" in the following way:

1. When you're talking to the potential buyers on the phone, try to put a good face on the house, lest they hang up on you.

I take it that "to put a good face on something" means "to point out the upsides of something, while glossing over the downsides", correct?

Thanks!
