Meaning of this "which"

This is not a grammar question! And the question you ask doesn't seem to me to have anything to do with the underlined word which anyway.

If there is a list to select from, you select.

If this is a computer application and there is a drop-down list, you select by clicking with your mouse.

If there is no drop-down list, but only some space where you can type, you select by typing.

If this is not even a computer application, you may have to select by checking a box or by writing.

If there is no list at all, you type or write your selections.

Typing or writing are not incompatible with selecting, so asking whether you select or type doesn't make sense.

Yes, this is an English question. I wouldn' have asked if the sentence was:

Please advise what SaFE domains you need access to. Or

Please sellect which SaFE domains you need access to.

but it says,

Please advise which SaFE domains you need access to.

I have to translate this single sentence baut I have no more infro of it. There may be a list to select from. There may be a pull down munu to sellect from, but I don't know.

it says "which", which seems to imply there will be a pull down nume on the actuall page but at the same time, "advice" seems to imply, there's no list or anything: the user simply can write any domain they want to.

I can't be sure which is likely. So I need your help

You may be trying to translate this too narrowly. Translate the general idea. The difference between what and which is insignificant in these sentences.

advise = let us know

which = those

what = those

The whole thing amounts to this:

Please [let us know / tell us / specify for us ] those SaFE domains that you need to [access / use].

Or,

If you need to use a domain, tell us the name of that domain. Do this for all domains that you need.

Surely you know how to say something like that in your own language.
