Meaning of this sentence please

Dear teachers,

1. I will take two drags from your cigarette.

2. I will take two puffs from your cigarette.

Are first and second sentecne mean same? If no please tell me the meaning of first sentence.

Both are grammatical, but sound a bit odd to me. Why would I let you take my cigarette in the first place ? It makes more sense if you ask : Could

Generally when you say 2 drags it means 2 long inhalations of the cigarette. 2 puffs imply that they would be 2 short inhalations of the cigarette.
