Meaning of this sentence

i was about accident or i was about fail in math subject.

what are the meaning of above two sentence??

actually i mean by above two subject.

1. i fall in accident but anyhow become safe.

2.i scored very poor in math subject but i have passed.

And each English sentence must start with a capital.
