Meaning of this question please....

"What will the Maharaja do to find the required number of tigers to kill?"
I find this question a little confusing. I.inner two meanings which is right!?
A)what has to be done to find the total number of tigers to be killed hereafter
Or
B)what measures must be taken in order to find the remaining tigers?
