Meaning of the phrase

Hi,

Could you please tell me which of the following phrases is correct and also if its meaning is correct -

"Mission towards glory"

or

"Mission to glory"

Thanks

"to" sounds most likely but "towards" is also feasible. There is not a great difference in meaning. "to" has a slightly stronger sense that glory has been or will be attained.

  • It's impossible to say if the meaning is "correct" unless we know what meaning you want.
  • Perhaps you could post the whole of the piece of text in which you plan to use this.

With no other context, I can only prefer 'a mission for glory'.
