Meaning of sentence

Hi everyone

I wrote the following sentence but I am very doubtful about its clarity and I have no idea how it may seem to a native speaker.

"As long as weak internal controls make it possible for top managers to be engaged in opportunistic practices (Epps & Guthrie, 2010), it is to be expected that that gender-diverse ACs are less likely to endure weak internal controls due to their concerns about financial reports quality"

What do you think about the meaning it conveys?
