meaning of "phunk"?

I am a non-native speaker.
I was listening to this song by Black Eyed Peas: "No, no, no, don't phunk with my heart...".
I searched the meaning of "phunk" in the dictionary, but it is not listed there.
What does it mean?
Thanks.

I don't think 'phunk' is even a word (at least in English), so I'll assume that the Black Eye Peas (pointlessly) used it in exchange for 'f'unk' (although, of course, neologisms are perfectly acceptable in the music industry, such as 'californication', and 'bizkit'). 'Don't f'unk with my heart' doesn't really make sense. As a verb, the word 'f'unk' has no business being in this sentence whatsoever.

  • With the Black Eyed Peas, however, it's likely that an original version was released with an expletive in the song title, although I, as a sentient being, have no business knowing whether or not this is the case!
  • If it is, then I think, therefore, that it was used solely as a replacement for the expletive and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

That orthography is used in many of their songs, I noticed. It is a euphemism for a word which will appear as mostly asterisks when I type it here-- ****-- and means, in this context, 'play emotional games', 'tease and torment'.

English is not my native language, so I want to know what does 'fellas' mean, because I heard it on the radio.

I'm a non-native speaker too, but if it helps you, the word "fella" is the short form of the standard English term "fellows", that is , friends, colleagues

I'm a musician and I 'm pretty much sure that this word "phunk" is not used here in a bad meaning. As everybody knows Funk is a kind of music evolved from Jazz where accent is put on syncope played quite fastly. When you say "don't funk with something" it means don't play (mess) with something whilst knowing that it's not serious and you will leave it off in a minute so it pointless. In the conte
