Meaning of "logical equivalent"

Hi,

It's from a website, and I would like to know the meaning or idea of "logical equivalent." I know that table is a technical term but I'm not familiar with the expression "logical equivalent." Is this like a idiom or something?

"This makes it simple to load and export data from cloud databases to a variety of external data sources. It even puts ‘NoSQL’ databases within the reach of RDBMS developers and DBAs. Plus, it lets you browse data and edit in-place as well as create “tables” or their logical equivalent."

Thank you,

M

" Sounds like programmer speak. If a "table" is an "array," I suspect its "logical equivalent" would be the particular representation of that table (or the information presented therein) in the programmer's language of choice. I hear "logic" and "code" as being closely related here.

  • Does that make any sense?

Yes, not completely, but getting closer to the solution, I think.

I hope I'm not asking you too much.
