meaning of "load the order"

Hello.
In a business situation, if someone who receives an order from a customer says “do you want me to go ahead and load the order?” what does “load the order” mean? I guess this means the order is entered into a system or computer in the company, is this correct?

I'm not sure that this is correct. To me, "load the order" could mean load it onto a computer system (as suggested), or load it as cargo onto some vehicle, such as a truck or plane.

The broad idea sounds to me like put it in the truck.

Hi GPY. I think you're right, but I think we need more context.
