Meaning of "last given to"

Hi all,

Would you rephrase the part I underlined? the expression is not familiar one to me.

Oakley Snowboarder Shawn White was announced as the winner of the 0000 National Ski Areas Association Industry Impact Award. Last given to the Winter X Games in 0000, the award "acknowledges a person, business or organization that makes standout contributions to the ski and snowboard industry."

Thank you,
