Meaning of "inconsistent"?

Does it mean "not related with another subject or object" or "having no similarity between them"? Can u explain the meaning please?

E.g. There were several inconsistencies and ambiguities in her speech.
E.g. Such behavior is inconsistent with her high-minded principles.
