Meaning of "in here"?

Experts,

"Can i use the soap in here?"

Does this mean "Can I use the soap that is here?", or " Can I use the soap in this place(room)?"

Thank you.

Hi,, It can mean either. The context will usually make the meaning very clear. In addition, #2 sounds like an uncommon thing to say.
