Meaning of got?

Can someone help me with the meaning of this word?

I saw that the meaning of "got" is "have" or "acquired".

For example, if you say:

"I got a new car." Does this mean 'acquired' or 'have'?

Let's say you achieved 1000 subscribers (youtube) 5 minutes ago

Person A (who reached 1000 subs) goes to his friend, Person B to spread the news.

Person A (who reached 1000 subs): Hey dude! I finally got 1000 subscribers!

Does "got" mean 'have' or 'acquired'?
