Hi. What is the meaning of golf holiday in the following text?
He looked like an insurance salesman in a golf holiday.
Thanks
I wonder if you've misquoted it. I would expect "on a golfing/golf holiday". If so, then it is trying to portray the image of someone who is in an unusually fortuitous situation.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't misquote it, but I think your reply is right to the point and sufficiently clarifies the meaning. I appreciate that.
Thanks again
