Meaning of glitch

Hi,

Id like to know about the usage of glitch. when i look it up in the dictionary, it always pertains to something technical, like computers or something. can i use it even if i dont want to mean technical stuff?

The term was coined specifically to provide a term with which to refer to unspecified problems relating to electronics in general, so it's not surprising that this is how it's generally used. It does see use in other scenarios, however, so you could if you wanted to, though you would probably be better off using another term.

The word is used loosely. I'd say there is often some technical aspect to the problem.

does it always mean technical? or can i use it plainly as something that means "flaw or problem"?
