Meaning of clause in my warranty deed

Here is the clause:

Further subject to Grantor's right, through August 28, 2002, to cut all trees previously marked, together with all aspen trees which have a trunk diameter of 6" or more at stump height. Weather permitting.

My concern is the date is past and most of the trees have not been cut. What impact does the Weather permitting sentence have? Is the Grantor still allowed to come on and cut if he claims the weather did not permit?

I could give you one answer and someone else could give you another. However, both would be useless in backing you up. You should talk to a lawyer or other expert.
