Meaning of cards

I'm trying to figure out some of the meanings of the Tarot cards.
For example:
Four of Cups: Uneasiness about future, boredom, missing what is important, overlooking your source of support.
--- Does it mean that I miss important things, just like you can miss a lover. Or maybe it means that I do not notice important things?
Six of Cups: Desire beginning to materialize, friendship, support, learning to receive.
Reversed - something able to happen, revealed in surrounding cards.
--- Does it mean that surrounding cards will tell me what will happen?
Two of Swords: Closed off to others, not receptive, defensive but need to be, protecting
yourself.
--- What does it mean "defensive but need to be"?
Six of Swords: Succes by hard work, improved situation, leaving the old and outgrown.
--- I take it to mean that one leaves the old situations behind. But "outgrown"?
Ten of Swords: Most difficult card in deck. Death, ruin, disaster, failure, betrayal - all steps in humiliation.
Reversed: small chance of escape, still grim.
--- Do you think that "still grim" mean "still dangerous card"?
