Vocabulary

Meaning of "broker" and "direct" in these contexts.

Hi,

Would you rephrase the words I underlined?

"It brokers connections to VDI desktops that run on a variety of platforms."

"It also directs connections to blade PCs."

Thank you.

The first sentence, where, I presume, "it" refers to a system which acts like a delegate. It handles requests (or whatever it is doomed to do) so user has no idea. But the delegate does some work.

The second "it" implies that it acts as a courier. It just passes responsibilities to the next object. If you're reffering to the same "it" you should change verbs according to my explanation.
