Meaning of autan

Hello,

Could you help me explain the meaning of the word in the following sentence?

The warm, dry autan blows along the Rhone Valley in France, and it is accompanied by low-pressure systems. I've refered the dictionary but can't find the answer to it. Hope you can do me a favor. Thanks a lot!Emotion: smile
