Meaning of 'a very tight series of constraints'

meaning of 'a very tight series of constraints'

The passage is from a website as follows:
http://www.salon.com/2014/07/13/the_universe_according_to_nietzsche_modern_cosmology_and_the_theory_of_eternal_recurrence/

For example, we can get a snapshot of what the universe looked like in its infancy, when the first atoms were forming. We can get a snapshot of what the universe looked like in its adolescence, when the first stars and galaxies were forming. And we are now getting a full detail, three-dimensional image of what the local universe looks like today. When you put together this different information, which we're getting for the first time in human history, you obtain a very tight series of constraints on any model of cosmic evolution.

In this passage I want to know the meanings of the underlined 'a very tight series of constraints'.
It seems to have some metaphorical meaning in this context.
Several careful readings brought me to the meaning, 'the exact blueprints' for the underlined part.
Do you agree with me?

Regards.

I wouldn't go as far as "exact blueprints."
By "tight series of constraints" the author is saying that we can have clearer (less hypothetical) models.

There is no metaphorical meaning. The meaning is mathematical.

For example, there is a pool ball on a pool table. There are constraints on how it can move, depending on the configuration of the other ***** on the table and its position. Good poo

Thanks a lot, GPY.

Thanks a lot, AlpheccaStars.
Your pool ball illustration gave me more illuminating picture of this tricky phrase.

Stenka25a very tight series of constraints
very tight ~ extremely exacting; rigidly precise
series ~ (There is more than one constraint, and they may be arranged in some sort of order.)
constraint ~ limitation ~ condition that cannot be ignored

a very tight series of constraints is more accurately a series of very tight constraints
