The quote above reminded me of another from Part Two, Chapter 9 of 1984, as follows, "Sanity is not statistical".
To me the one from 1984 is quite the opposite to the one in question. The one in 1984 says even thouth someone says otherwise compared to the majority he is not insane. But the quote in question insists that if one says something much different the majority he is insane.
Am I right in my line of thought?
