Meaning for "the lowercase kind" and "vibe-y"

Hi there,

I was reading a webpage that has the following sentence but I don't quite understand what it means by "the lowercase kind" and "vibe-y".

"Yes, there are many levels of hate, but I'm really talking about the lowercase kind. It's not violent. It's mostly vibe-y."

Thanks heaps!

I think "lowercase" implies covert/non-obvious hate. Kimagi It's mostly vibe-y. It's mostly hate that you feel; not hate that you see or hear.

By the way, there's another way to express the same idea.

There are many kinds of love, but I'm not talking about love with a capital L.

To the speaker, 'love' is the common, everyday form; 'Love' is the extra-special form.
