Meaning difference

The distinction between wh-interrogative and nominal relative is known not to be very clear.

The grammar book I refer to shows that an example below can be interpreted in two different ways.

ex. Do you remember when we get lost? (one is interrogative, the other nominal relative.)

But I can't think of the meaning of the case where it is used as interrogative. Please help!

Interrogative interpretation:

Do you remember when we get lost? ~
Do you remember the answer to the question "When do we get lost?"
(Yes. It's when we forget to take a map with us.)
