Probably: You have made a firm decision. You have already been accepted and made some arrangements with the coach about your starting date.

Probably: You've decided that next month you'll be talking to the coach about signing up to play on the team.

This needs more context to make sense. 'will' often shows that there is some condition or current situation that motivates your (usually spontaneous) decision or promise.
