Meaning and interpretation

"India, on Saturday, ensured a passage into the World Group Play-off for the fourth successive year, and did it in a style that would befit not an inexperienced side full of rookies but a seasoned outfit." What does "seasoned outfit" mean here ? I am unable to understand the last sentence.
