Hi,

What is the meaning of Jif in the following text? Is it a brand?

Krane chemical company dumped tons of toxic chemicals into our ground and our water but, hey, let's blame it on Jif peanut butter.

I have not heard of it myself, but in cases such as this, the first thing I would do is go to (English) Wikipedia. org/wiki/Jif_(peanut_butter).

I have not heard of it myself, but in cases such as this, the first thing I would do is go to (English) Wikipedia. When I type as far as "jif p" into the search box, the first suggestion that comes up is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jif_(peanut_butter)..
