Meaning?

Before we go too far in this discussion, can you please verify that you really wanted to talk about sentence a in both sentences, and that you were not talking about sentence b in either of them?

No I am only explaining about sentence a.

To me sentence a:

1: focuses on specific time even like watching a movie in the sentence.

2: is a future perfect in the past meaning watching the movie happened after ‘thought’.
