Hi,

1. When did you say you would go to France?
2. When was it that you would go to France?

Please let me know the difference of the meaning in above two sentences. Thanks.

The intent of the 2 questions is presumably the same. The 2nd seems a little off to me, so I have amended it: 1. When did you say you would go to France?
